The Studiomill 3D milling machine allows you to effortlessly translate your CAD models from computer to high quality prototypes, models and parts.

Capable of offering 2D, 3D and Rotary axis modelling, our machine is able to provide a means of modelling both simple and complex parts.

3D Modelling

Studiomill supports all major CAD software and utilises its own purpose built PathingCNC software to simulate and perform the modelling process. Supporting industry standard file formats .stl and .dxf

PathingCNC software allows you to view and manipulate your CAD model in a virtual tooling environment and quickly and easily tailor the modelling process to suit your requirements. The software allows the more advanced user to exercise complete control over the modelling process, but also provides a degree of assistance to the novice user. PathingCNC is compatible with Windows® Vista/ XP/2000/ME/98

Materials

The Studiomill provides a generous work area of 160mm (Ø) X 220mm (H) Suitable for most small to medium tasks, and accommodates a variety of low-priced materials including standard plastics (ABS, TryCut) modelling boards, modelling wax’s woods, resins and foams. Sheet and block material are both usable.

Power

Incorporating a 100W DC motor spindle and a software resolution of 0.005mm/stepover the Studiomill can produce models quickly and precisely of excellent finish, quality and accuracy. For optimum performance and flexibility with a variety of materials and cutters, the Studiomill offers an adjustable spindle speed of 5,000 - 20,000 rpm.

Studiomill for Education

Studiomill has been designed to meet the needs of the educational market. It fulfils the requirements of BS4163:2007 and is safe, easy to run and maintain and comes with a full maintenance guide.

The machine casing allows a safe view of the milling process and allows a 180°clear view, facilitating the teaching process. The PathingCNC software is intuitive and allows students to develop their understanding of the modelling and prototyping process. Tutorials are included with the machine and a comprehensive teaching pack is available.
